A little scary but does the job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon opening the box and getting this set up, I noticed that was no manuel or instructions and the how-to video wouldn't load so I had to work it out on my own. The heat is activated by holding down the power button and tapping it again until it reaches the level of heat you want. I ran it through a section of hair, which produced a nice curl. After that, a very alarming whirring sound came from the tool, which seemed to be the cool air function. This wasn't exactly how I expected the cooling part to work and I'm not convinced that it would do much to negate the heat damage. Again, this is where an instruction manual would have been very helpful.
I'm curious to see how this product will hold up over time. I would like to use it again because the curls looked great, especially if some kind of holding product is used after, and I appreciate the air burst even if the sound is startling.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was going to my brothers wedding and decided it would be a great time to try this product. I have a short bob hair style which makes it harder to curl my hair and not look like Shirley Temple. This product did the trick. The barrel is large enough and the way the product is designed it allows for loose curls by touching the button to real lease the wand l. It goes up to 400 degrees and can be used as a straightener or a curler. I highly recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review and though I am grateful for the opportunity let me tell you…this device is a MAJOR FLOP.
I am not totally sure why I was chosen for this campaign seeing as I already have naturally curly/wavy hair so I was extra curious to see what volume I could add to my hair by using the cool air styler.

WELL.
It flattened it.
This device is loud due to the fan, the release button takes an oddly large amount of pressure to open for each new piece of hair (If you have bad joints like myself it is painful to use- I am 29) if you don’t move swiftly enough it WILL kink your hair, overall even if this device worked as it said it should it would take forever to complete a full head of locks by oneself.
In attempting to use this product as directed and discovering it more myself to see all the many things it can do it COMPLETELY removed my natural curls and left a kinky, flattened, Courtney Love inspired mess with maybe one or two tight curls. My hair is fine, not thick or coarse so it should not be this disappointing.
Relying too much on a gimmick and not enough on quality. I will not be recommending this to anyone.

Conair learning curve with long hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the overall idea of the curler and it is a pretty decent product to give you wavy curls. The main issue I have with the product is that there's a bit of a learning curve when it comes to first-time users and if you have long hair. if you have long hair, I find that you have to set it to the medium level in order to get it hot enough to keep the curl in the hair by the time you get to the tips. I also find you have to wrap your hair a couple of times to get a good curl pay off as well. Overall, if you have short to medium length hair, you might have an easier time using this product than those with extremely long hair like myself.

hard to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried to use this product for a bout 20 minutes and was less than impressed with the results. I couldn’t seem to figure out how to use or turn off the fan function and I really struggled with getting curls using my non dominant hand. The inconsistency of the curls with this product makes me want to stick to my classic curling wand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first it was confusing on how to use but then when I learned that you have to keep pressing the on button to turn it on after that was easy to use, I just cut my hair and I did a subtle wavy to my hair and it was so easy, I will totally recommend and my favorite styler so far!!!
