hold curls all day!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used this now several times. The first time I did read the directions and felt it was pretty easy to use; however, I wasn’t able to get the top of my hair, near my roots, to curl. After serval attempts, I’ve gotten better but still the top doesn’t curl great. But, the rest that does curl really holds a curl! The first time I used it, without ANY products, the curls lasted all day and even through the night! The cold air really helps set the curls. Another downfall is that it tends to make my hair a bit frizzy, but it’s easily tamed with product. I’ll definitely continue to use this product and have already recommended to a handful of friends!

Great idea, poor execution

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to like this. I rarely use heat styling products due to the damage they cause to my hair. That is why this product really appealed to me. The outer barrel has a fan to minimize the heat being applied to your hair while styling. Unfortunately, the product does not work well at all. It does not curl your hair, rather, it applies some wave, even on the highest heat setting. You must curl the teeniest tiniest piece of hair in order to get any sort of result. Even then, it doesn’t last long. It took me a while to figure out how to even use it, but after looking up a tutorial, I realized that these professionals are getting results hardly any better than mine. I think it might work better if you had very fine and thin hair. Also, the controls are confusing to figure out. I had to read the instructions each time I used it. There is only one large button to control everything, and every time I went to curl a piece of hair, I would accidentally hit the button, turning the product down to the lowest heat setting. Every time. Overall I’m disappointed in this product and would not recommend. (The first picture below is when I was in a hurry and only curled the front pieces of my hair—that worked well! The second picture is me attempting to style my whole head—it looks nothing different than the normal curl in my hair)

so easy to use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never seemed to be able to curl my hair with a traditional hair curler. I have really thick hair, which may add to it but this curler made it so easy! It is so user friendly and does not catch my hair or pull. I also used it on my daughters hair and she loved it. Added the needed curls for her Halloween princess costume.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I really liked this curling iron. I was skeptical at first because I have long, thick hair. It definitely has a learning curve to it. Once you get the hang of it, it’s easy to use. The one thing I didn’t like it the button for the heat levels is easy to hit while curling your hair. I love the curls that it produces.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My curls do tend to last longer with this curler. Moored to my regular heated curler. Once you get the hang of how to use it the results are more airy fluffy curls and setting them in with a good hairspray makes the. Last all day.

CONAIR COOL AIR STYLER ❤️
on November 28, 2021

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am happy to say that this works awesome so far. It is easy to use and the directions were intuitive. I predominately straighten my hair and have tried to use various straighteners to curl. The blow dryer cools hair as you curl or straighten. Double click the power button if you want the blow dryer off. I was not sure I would like it as much for straightening because it does not get tight around my hair. I thought it would not be as effective. However, my hair stays shiny and straight. It also seems to straighten faster. The blow dryer will release any stored water after blow-drying as well. So far there have been so many benefits. The performance has outweighed my skepticism. It is working great. I do recommend it. I will update as needed.
PROS - Curls easy. - Curls last. - Straightens easily, stays straight. - It’s not as tight around hair and hair glides when curling or straightening. (less breakage or damage) - Shiny and pretty results. - Easier styling than average. - Fast heat up time - Blow dryer turns off
CONS - Prop up ledge is short (it doesn't get in the way of working but may not protect the counter).

Cumbersome, gimmicky & ineffective
on November 28, 2021

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First impressions: Looking at the Conair InfinitiPro Cool Air Styler right out of the box I was intrigued but skeptical— I don’t like gimmicks and generally prefer solid craftsmanship and simple designs — but I’m willing to try anything once. How to use: It’s round like a curling iron, but when you squeeze to open it there are two flat plates inside, like a flat iron. So the idea is that you open it, clamp in a small section of hair, rotate it up and back 180° toward your part, then hold that position as you pull down and away from your head (kind of like curling some ribbon with a pair of scissors.) As you pull away and down, the heated plates + the 180° angle curl your hair while the vents all along the outside of the barrel blow cool air to set the curl and minimize damage from the heat. That is how it’s supposed to work, anyways.. My experience: I attempted to use this on two separate occasions, and both times yielded underwhelming and wildly inconsistent results. I used only small sections of hair and tried each tiny section multiple times but could barely get it to curl! And the pressure you get just by releasing the button to clamp down onto you hair is very weak, I found it did nothing at all to hold and curl the hair unless I held it shut firmly with my other hand. Sometimes the result would be a nice (but weak) curl, and other times it would just be completely flat, like I had straightened it. And because it has so many nooks and crannies it snagged my hair with literally every single pass, which is so irritating and painful. Getting through just the bottom 1/5th layer of hair took like 20 minutes and only a few sections were actually curled. Pros: the cooling vents did seem to help keep my head cooler in general while working with it, (regardless of whether it mitigated any damage) and I also liked that there was an option to turn it off. Also I liked that there was a cool spot on the end that you could safely touch, so you don’t have to wear a glove. Cons: constantly snags hair, clamp has a weak grip on hair and must be held shut with you other hand, startup light-indicator system is unnecessarily complicated, vent fans are loud and gimmicky, bare-bones instructions. Overall: ineffective! Doesn’t curl well and is painful to use. Would not recommend/would not purchase. 2 stars for the few small touches listed in the “pros” above.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product was confusing at first to use but after a couple try’s I got it to work. I love the curls that it gives me but my hair is so thick honestly that my hair falls apart my hair is passed my butt so I just think its easier that I use a curling wand but I will use it on the days that I want a loose curl.
