[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was intimidated at first because I rarely style my hair, let alone use a curling iron. My hair is heavy and usually never holds. This curling iron does the trick! The curls stayed put for several hours!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the concept of this tool. It’s easy to use. It is more like a straightener than a curling iron. It curled my hair well. I’m not sure it’s really any different from my normal straightener though.

Great for bangs & voluminous blowout look

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I didn’t love this item for curls like it’s intended— I still love my Hot Tools and Bio Ionic irons and will forever use those when I need to actually curl my hair. What I did find this incredibly useful for was creating a more voluminous, blowout look in my hair as well as styling my bangs. The flat iron combined with rounded edges are absolutely perfect to style a blowout look in your hair if you’re wanting volume with bounce or bangs that need some lift and a slight curl in them. Also works as a solid straightener, so for me, this item is a regular in my routine and a go-to when traveling to cover multiple styles with one tool.
In terms of creating curls throughout my hair, I found the tool to be complicated to use, pieces of hair would get caught and snag. The few times I was able to get some curls to look decent, they didn’t last and fell within a few hours.

Does not work for short hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted this product to work, to give me effortless beachy waves. Unfortunately, your hair would need to be at least shoulder length to get any kind of real results. Even as a straightener this thing was useless. I wound up having to wash my hair and blow it out to fix it after trying to style my hair. For context I have an asymmetrical pixie (think Sarah Lou Who on Instagram), super thick and straight and 4-5” on top to work with. This thing was clunky, awkward to hold and having to clamp your hair in between the plates was both awkward and uncomfortable. Not to mention dangerous. I burnt myself twice due to lack of clearance. Might be a great investment if you have long, thin hair, but otherwise it’s not worth it.

liked the idea, not execution

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The idea of this seemed really good. I thought it might be a dupe for the dyson air wrap. It was really difficult to use but got better over time. When a curl went well, it looked really good. However, how the curls turned out were hit or miss. I think as I use it more, it will get better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been trying to use it since a got the box, but I couldn’t use it because it is a little confusing to use and for me it is not hot enough to curl my hair. I really liked the concept of this tool to not damage my hair but it didn’t work for me. I will practice more and maybe I’m going to get better.

good for curling

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, let me just say that I’m new to curling my hair. I learned from YouTube videos and a watching someone curl my hair. The picture I included shows my regular hair against my newly curled hair and I like it (just need a little more practice!). It works pretty great and only part I dislike is that it takes out some of my hair in the process, getting caught. Very easy to use with instructions and the tips stay cool so you can have a grip with both hands.
