[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve never used a flat iron before and found this very easy to use to make beautiful curls! My hair is fine and straight—this gave it volume and gorgeous curls! I would definitely recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Packaging is not bad and it was lightweight. However, I thought the clamp didn’t open wide enough and when it close, it didn’t close tight enough either. It pulled a few strands of my hair out at the inner corner of the clamp as well. At the medium heat setting, my curls came out cool to touch and actually shinier than expected which I liked. I have medium-long fine thin hair and the waves stayed without me putting on any hair spray after. I think this item would work better for short to medium hair length. However, for this price point I would expect not to have these cons that I listed above.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not super impressed with it, but I am also not a pro at using the tool. I think the cool air technology is so genius! It was pulling out my hair a bit more than normal, but it makes for great curls.

Smooth Hair but defective device

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used Paul Mitchell hair gloss before I used the Conair so I am sure that helped with the softness. I am thankful I received this product to test out but honestly, I wouldn’t purchase it. The button to release/open the barrel sticks and at times stayed pushed in so the barrel stayed open. Once I finally finished my hair it looked pretty but it was frustrating at times to use this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The InfinitiPro Cool Air Styer heats up quickly, and I appreciate that it has three different heat settings for different hair types. I used the lowest setting because my hair is fine and a bit damaged. It was a bit complicated to use at first, particularly because the clamp doesn't open up as wide as I would like. It's also a bit loud when the cool air fan is running. However, the results looked nice and it didn't seem like it would damage my hair due to the cool air flow. I think this is the type of product where it would be helpful to watch instructional videos before using, as there is a bit of a learning curve in terms of the technique. However, in the end, I was able to achieve some nice, loose waves.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the best hair styling tool i could ever use! i love using it to straighten my hair AND curl it. my hair is super soft now due to less heat damage and how the air helps with the heat. totally suggest!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never tried a product like this before. I knew it was all heated up and ready to use when the fan kicks on, which is kind of loud. I used this about 3 times the past 2 days, and the first time I used it didn’t go too well. I was using too big of sections and not getting the same angles, so the curls weren’t too consistent with each other. Second time I used it was much better and I learned to use much smaller sections to get better curls.
The main downside I see to this tool is, for my hair at least, it tended to sometimes snag and pull out a couple strands of my hair. Nothing major, but I wanted to mention it. Also, I noticed my hair seemed kind of frizzy after each pass. For that reason, I felt it necessary to brush my hair out with a full on brush, not just a comb, after I finished curling it, just to get all the tangles out. But that ended up working well, as brushing it out gave my hair a look that I actually really like more (bigger waves).
I do think this is a nice tool and I will keep playing around with it. I agree with others who say there is a learning curve, as it can be hard to get the same look for each curl.
