The HP Laptop 17t-cn300 has proven to be an excellent device with no major issues as of the date of this review. Its overall performance has been reliable, making it a solid choice for professional use. However, one aspect that requires attention is the Microsoft Word program that was purchased as an additional feature. Upon saving documents, I discovered that Word was preset to automatically store files in OneDrive, rather than in local storage. Since there was no prior information provided about this setting, locating saved files became challenging. After some troubleshooting, I realized my documents were stored in the cloud rather than in the Documents folder on my laptop. As someone who prefers keeping files locally, I had to take additional steps—including deleting OneDrive—to prevent automatic cloud storage. Apart from this Word storage issue, the initial setup was smooth and hassle-free. As a certified photo-video journalist, blogger, and Google reviewer, I rely on my HP laptop and desktop for critical tasks, and this device has met my expectations well. Overall, despite the minor inconvenience with OneDrive settings, this has been a great purchase with dependable performance. Users who prefer local file storage may want to adjust settings or seek guidance during setup to avoid similar issues.
Easy to set up and use. All my information from my last HP laptop transferred over quickly. I like the larger screen and the clean look of the keyboard.
I love the size of this laptop It seems to be working very well for what I'm using it for just would have liked been able to hook more than one monitor to it and have the power to USB-C port. I was thinking that all new laptops would have powered USBC ports but I was wrong that is my fault for not looking.
