I have always until now been very happy with HP but this time I have had endless problems with the date and time on here. Every day for the last week or so the time and date have been out of sync. It has been corrected 3 times but it is wrong again as soon as I turn off and back on hours after.

Basic but does the job. Bit plastic looking, do not like the fact that I have to undo all the screws to get to the battery and hard drive. The caps are hit and miss as the key is very sensitive. Quite fast on start up and the battery does last for at least 5/6 hours unplugged. All in all a cheap and cheerful laptop and ideal for 10+ year olds, I would not say any good for adults having heavy loads!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought this for my 73 year old wife as a Christmas present.
As she is a bit of a tecnophobe, then I went through the initial set-up procedure with her and to her suprise it was fairy straightforward! However, it did need a fair amount of updates and for some reason this took a long time. I've added a couple of useful security/cleaner apps and everything seems to be running smoothy.
I personally have bought various HP Laptops and PC's over many years and have not been dissapointed with the equipment provided.
Initially, this laptop looks to be good value for your money based on the specification and I would recommend this to anyone.

This very slim light laptop lacks little. The 1TB hard drive has loads of room. Its a fast piece of kit. The scrren is sharp and clear
My only gripe is that I like more USB ports than this model offers.
Even so I will not part with it as it is extemely good value for money.
The i7 chip drives the machine along at a spanking rate even when multi-tasking.
I would recommend this to a friend!
