[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just bought this product recently as a computer for school. It's screen is very high definition, great for watching movies. The software is not very easy to manage however, it's hard to find things. The visual design is not very appealing. My use of the computer is not very demanding, so it serves my purposes just fine, it runs multiple apps at a time smoothly, music, a browser, and word for example. Another feature I have employed frequently has been the battery saver, it has a slider and offers multiple options to prioritize battery life or performance, very nifty. The default browser is not bad, it has some neat features like saving your passwords and running a price comparing function for online shopping (that feature saved me $60). Over all, it's a practical choice for a poor student like me. For the price it is a sturdy little machine, so definitely consider it if you are a student and neat something light and portable to work or study on.

The initial setup process though to setup for my kids was difficult and confusing. Guessing this was due to the age of my kids but had so many processes setup thru Microsoft that made it near impossible to complete. Too much red tape for kids.
