It's very good: four stars. It has an excellent, clear screen. It's ultra-fast. The number and types of USB ports is helpful. But there are two serious problems that have me concerned. First, it feels flimsy. If I pick it with one hand -- it's very lightweight so this should be OK to do -- I hear the plastic of the cover make a cracking noise. It hasn't cracked -- yet -- but this makes me nervous regarding its durability. Second, the touchpad lacks a usable right click feature. You can right-click in the bottom right corner of the touchpad, but it works poorly compared to an right click button. This makes it difficult to open multiple browsing tabs or to easily transfer files between two "File Explorer" windows.
My HP Pavilion laptop is fabulous! It is lightweight, yet feels substantial and well-made. It is also lightning fast. This is my first HP, and I would definitely buy one again and recommend to my friends.
There several things I have been disappointed with.
1. No card reader. I haven't bought a pc for a while but I can't believe it's an option that I should have looked for. It's absurd to think I need to drag around another device just to be able to use my SD cards.
2. The power button is in a ridiculous place. It's always been in the top corner of every other machine I have had over the last 20 years.
So far so good. The laptop works fine, I already installed most the apps that I need and all my information and documents. It is fast, seamless and good quality.
