The computer itself is great. The screen is a bit of a letdown. I knew it wouldn't be super bright and it's definitely not. The big design flaw is the lighted keyboard. The background color of the keys is silver. In average room light, the lighted letters on the keys disappear. The keyboard is only readable in the dark.

The laptop is very solid and the quality is very good. Display and keyboard appear of high quality (I did upgrade to the backlit display). The machine is fast and well configured without too much pre-installed clutter software.
The only thing I am not too crazy about is the trackpad - the buttons are somewhat difficult to press, making a fairly loud sound with each press and not good for people with carpal tunnel syndrom. Overall would recommend!
