Disappointed it doesn't have a touch screen thought proformance would be be better with the i7 chip and windows 11 but no better than i5 chip

I love HP products and I love my new laptop, however the one thing it's missing, is a backlit keyboard. I honestly thought that was pretty standard these days and didn't think to select it or even see it on the list of available options during customization. It took quite a while for the laptop to be assembled and sent to me, but over-all I do really like this laptop.

A very good machine. When it eventually arrived, opening the box, it starts to run without any problem. It runs rather fast, more than adequate as a software development machine.
I run it mainly with WSLg for Ubuntu. The Windows 11 makes it effortless. I'm further convinced of my decision of buying quality and affordable PC for Ubuntu applications than buying Mac machines.

I regret that I should have chosen the touch screen option. It might make it even more fun.
The only pain is the long lead time! I ordered Sept. 6th, 2022, got it on Oct. 3rd. It seems that the manufacturing in Chongqing, China becomes a liability. I observed that 90% of delay was in China.
