The quality isn't crystal clear, and it has trouble connecting sometimes but I would say it's a great budget option. I use it mostly to check in on my dog when I'm away. Connects 9/10 times.

The quality of the video and ease of use of the mobile app is great. Set up was very easy. They still need to improve the sensitivity of the motion tracking though. I have this camera in my garage and get regular notification about a person being detected when there is nothing there. I reviewed the recorded clips and few times it seamed to be triggered by a spider crossing the view but other times there was no obvious cause. If you arn't interested in notifications however this camera is a great choice.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have never used an easier smart camera! Setup was VERY easy and the app make checking in very simple. I added the Smart Indoor Camera to my garage. We tend to forget if we closed the garage door or not. Now, we don't have to! A quick check on the app helps me verify open or closed.

Someone had attempted to break into my wife's car, so I've set this up for a bit of piece of mind. I had to turn off the motion detection though, because it was going of almost constantly.

I've had a few cameras that were inexpensive and wifi based like this one. They are usually grainy and very laggy. The W31 has a very nice image quality, decent audio, and less than a half second delay from real time. My security cameras are at least 5 seconds behind. This camera is simple to set up and automatically reconnects if you move it to another location.
