For reference - I’m 15 and never used tampons etc before. I bought a menstrual cup a little doubtfully but after reading up about it and one or two uses, it’s super easy to use!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love it! Excellent for beginners

I’m a first time cup user, and have only used tampons a few times before (also haven’t had penetrative sex before). I found the cup easy to insert (lube/water is extremely helpful), and after a few days I got the hang of getting the cup to fully open inside too (using a finger to push on the walls of your vagina near the rim of the cup helps it to open up). Breaking the seal and removing was also not bad as it’s quite a flexible cup (bearing down and also sorta folding the cup when taking out helped loads).
I was starting to get so fed up of pads feeling like a mattress of blood, and found tampons so uncomfortable. This cup is life changing, I barely notice it’s inside me and that I’m on my period. Haven’t yet tried exercising in it though.
In terms of capacity, it’s never overflowed and works great for me- I empty it out about 3 times a day on heavy days and 2 on lighter days. Still wear a reusable pad in case of leaks, but I haven’t really had leaks after getting the hang of getting the cup to open up.
It’s a soft cup which has many advantages with getting used to the world of menstrual cups, but has its downside in terms of getting it to open up/not leak. That’s my only complaint, but love it otherwise.

Perfect for Beginners

10/10 If you're a teenage girl attending a brick and mortar school, you need one of these!
~My Story~
I bought the Lily Cup about a year ago when studying for mid-semester finals! I was worried because my period fell on finals week (such luck right?), so I bought the cup so I could use it worry-free while I studied and took tests! Let me just say I haven't stopped using it since! A little TMI but when I bought the cup I was a virgin so a big worry of mine was it being too big that it would get stuck! The first time I used it my body did tense up a bit but as soon as I calmed down and took a breather, it came out with ease! After you use it a few times it becomes second nature too!! Also, it is cheerleader approved, no stings to worry about when doing kicks or jumps!~
Overall I would much rather prefer this over any tampon or pad! Reusable, healthier, and cheaper in the long run!

The Perfect Cup

I've been using my Lily Cup One for over a year now and am absolutely obsessed! I tell almost everyone who asks me for a tampon or pad about how much I LOVE this cup - I will never go back to tampons! I tried another cup before this one and it never worked or fit right, but this one is perfect! I'm back to buy a second cup after I accidentally left mine boiling for too long and may have melted it a bit. Whoops! Just remember to always monitor your cup while cleaning it and don't get caught up in an episode of SVU!

Good but could be better

I was using the original Lily cup for around 6 months and that cup was my absolute favourite until I went through a round of IVF and my cervix decided it was going to lower itself! so I needed a smaller cup and decided to buy the Lily cup one.
First impressions I like the fact that the rim is sturdy because it opens up inside easier.
What I don’t like is because it is collapsible, I find that when I’m trying to push it up inside of me it starts collapsing inside and I find it incredibly hard to get it in place because of this and I kinda feel like I’ve just waisted a lot of money, because it’ll do for the time being but I will have to look elsewhere for a more suitable cup.
For this reason I don’t feel it would be suitable for people starting out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Buying a second one, but totally worth it!

I've been using this cup for months and I'm wondering now where I've been all this time before?
It's super easy to use; you won't feel it while using; I literally forget I'm having period, isn't that great? The best thing is the comfort, especially at night, and during the day You are free to move and live normally!
I'm purchasing a second cup, because I broke the loop - a recommendation: be gentle while tearing it out

I have tried other cups and this was the most comfortable. Great for first time to menstrual cups.

Lily Cup One is my second product from Intimina. I had used Lily Cup Compact size A for 5-6 years. Now, I have used Lily Cup One for one month so far. I did not have any leaks to which I am glad. Using this cup needs some adjusting, but once you get the grip on how to use it, the insertion and removal processes are seamless. It seems Lily Cup One is sturdier and Lily Cup Compact is softer - based on my experience.
