The Only One

Because of the configuration of our kitchen this is the ONLY stove we can use. In 1976, when we bought our home, the stove was chocolate brown and matched the dishwasher and fridge. We could JUST fit a Turkey, but nothing else. When we replaced it with a white model, it came with the oven cleaning feature. That addition made the oven interior smaller. I had to hunt like crazy to find a roasting pan to fit.
Flash to today. This stove gets 3 stars; one because it fits in the drop in space, one because the stove top is easy to clean, and one because the oven, small though it is, has food constant temperatures.

I really wanted a full size range, however was not in the mood to remodel the kitchen cabinets. Grateful that they still make this odd size. So far it works great no complaints here. Had the old 27 inch GE drop in for 27 years.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Why no flat top, why still old fashioned burners?

Dislke the Sensi-temp burners, unable to clean properly. This is my third 27" Profile drop in. Would have thought by now you would have come out with flat top burners.
I sent another review in and forgot to mention the flat top.

Burner Issue

Dislike burner sensi-temp technology. Unable to clean properly, i.e.: scour with SOS product. Also not able to change burner to a regular one.
This is my third one of the 27" Profile drop in.

It works well. I wish there was an option for stainless. This is the last of the 27" dropins available for these homes built in the 70's. At least give the consumer the option to have stainless to have a somehwat updated kitchen!
