Don't like burners

Don't like the sensitemp burners they don't stay hot

Each burner with this sensi-temp technology has a silver medallion with a button (sensor) in the center of the coil. This button must make contact with the bottom of the cookware for the Sensi-Temp Technology to sense the temperature properly. When the sensor detects a pan temperature near the limit (450 degrees F), the burner will shut off automatically until a lower, safe pan temperature is reached. At that point, the burner will resume heating. This will not affect everyday cooking as the automatic shut-off is temporary and only happens at a very high temperature.

New is Nice

This is basically the only stove on the market that fits the hole in my kitchen counter, so I just got a new one to replace the one that was slowly dying. The last one was good for about 25 years, so this one should be solid for a while. It's nice to be able to SEE through the window in the oven door for a change. I think they've upraded a few things, too.

27 in. 4 Burner Drop-In Electric Range self clean

After installing defects were found. Underside of top has large areas that were not finished. The inside of oven door has a chip & also the oven door does not fit perfectly. The oven seems to be working okay as I have checked the temperatures, but the door is not flush with oven.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
