Quality seems similar to 20 yrs ago (a good thing)

Bought this as a replacement for a 20-year-old unit. The new unit seems to be physically very similar to the old one. One minus is that the timer no longer goes down to seconds, only minutes--useless when baking pizzelles. Another minus is that they skimped on the porcelain enamel finish on the underside of the cooktop, which means that it will start rusting prematurely. Everything else seems fine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

27" drop in range

No options and cost to much. Unfortunately, you're the only game in town and I don't have the money to redo my kitchen. Lucky for you, GE is the only Co. that makes a 27" drop in.

Just got this unit today and it's awesome the burners hear up quickly and the oven has good spacing between racks.

Bought after my GEP7 oven quit working. I had it for 51 years!! Because it was a drop in and only 27" I was limited to what would fit. But after having my other one for 51 years I had no reservations about buying another GE product.

Our original GE finally wore out. We replaced it with the same oven that came with our home 32 years ago. The 27" drop in was a good fit and we love it.

I just love the state of the art features on my sleek Black new GE stove, I was so impressed I didn't want to cook on it, But just admire & look at it " laughing" Thanks GE for creating such a futuristic appliance!! I am a GE woman for life.
