The black store looks really nice. The burners is not the best quality and they could have left off the center cap. It look like it is there temporary for delivery only. It takes away the elegant look of the stove.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

27 Inch Drop In Range

Bought this unit to replace a 1975 unit of the same make and model. This appliance easily replaced the old unit. No cabinet alterations were needed. It is hard wired into 240V. Needed an electrician to connect to power. Unit was operational within 1 hour.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Horrible!!! Burners cycle down in temp so often I can't even boil water or simmer food. How do you cook pasta or boil corn on the cobb when your stove doesn't stay hot long enough? I will be calling GE customer service managers about why they can sell a stove that doesn't cook.

This model comes with our sensi-temp burners which will adjust the temperature to help meet the new UL858 Household Electric Ranges Standard. If you are noticing the burners turn completely off, then we suggest getting one of our technicians out for diagnostics. Temperature is always off and has done this from the day I bought it. I have no other choice in ovens because of the size of the space I have. Seriously think of taking the tile out and moving a cabinet to get a different oven. Don’t buy this I can’t bake in this at all unless you like black stuff.

27" drop in range - works great!!

Our last stove/range lasted 33 years. I hope this one does too. This new stove/range is really nice. It has an automatic setting of 350 degrees and when you turn it on, it you can watch it as it preheats to get to the temperature you need and once there, it beeps to let you know it's ready. I was very impressed when I baked cupcakes with my grandson, because they were done in the shortest timeframe, per the recipe, compared to my old one where it took longer for them to bake. This is a very nice stove/range and I recommend it to everyone that needs a 27" drop in range.
