Suites my needs well

This is a great unit had some issues right from the start but they were taken care of. I would have love to have had an owners guide to explain all the features of this unit. That was very disappointing to me. It is always nice to have a manual to go by should something happen the manual will help me to better explain my issue. I’m still adjusting to my unit but I am enjoying it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great features for allotted space.

We built our house in 1971. This is our third GE drop-in stove in 49 years. Needless to say our first stove lasted much longer, 39 years, but all appliances lasted longer years ago. We have been very satisfied with the GE stove for the space allotted for this appliance.

Newer version of same 27" GE drop in range I used for 47 years! Thrilled to find one that fit without a cabinet redo. Very happy with how it cooks and bakes.

This stove's oven door had about a 1/4" gap and would not close the way it should. It also had a chip on the enamel on the inside of the oven door.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We're sorry to hear about your oven door not closing fully as well as the enamel coating chipping on the interior of the door. If you would like, you could attempt to remove the oven door and reseat it on its hinges. This could help with the closing issue. Though this following article deals with cleaning between the glass on an oven door, it offers a nice video that shows you how to remove the door. As for the enamel coating chipping, this may be something that a technician would need to take a look at. We would recommend taking advantage of your warranty and scheduling a service appointment or calling and talking to one of our technicians to let them know about this chipping. Cooks well

Since my house is almost 47 years old and was built for the 27" drop-in range, I had no choice without a kitchen remodel, which is out of the question. I wish there had been other color options, but I had to take what is offered. I did feel that the oven is smaller than my previous one, and that has been confirmed by other reviews I have read online. So far, I have been very pleased with the performance of the stove and hope that it will last as long as my other two did. If so, I'm set for life.

We replaced old unit that circuit board for oven stopped working, since is only 27in drop in had no other options, stove is tiny and had to adjust to size not all our cookie sheets fit, wish it had 2 large burners instead of only one. Would have been expensive to put in 30in oven, would have had to move cabinets. Works great original overn was in house built on 1972, so lasted long time.
