Ok- you might not need colors, but they're fun! I think the best part is being able to schedule these and control them while you're on trips right from your phone. I'm definitely going to buy some more. Easy set up and easy to schedule.

The price on these guys is honestly phenomenal compared to Phillips where it's twice the cost for ONE bulb. I want a smart home but I wasn't looking to go broke for it either. I started off with these bulbs in my living room for extra lighting and I feel like I made a little rave cave! The colors are vibrant and being able to use my phone or Google Nest to modify it has been so convenient. It honestly makes me excited for when we have house parties! I definitely recommend this to anyone who plans on getting smart bulbs without breaking their bank.
