Sleek design with no unnecessary tech!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We chose this stove mainly because we loved how it looked and the fact that it didn't have extra tech features that could go bad like wifi connection etc. As others have mentioned it is hard to see the knobs with the overhang, but you get used to that and I think it keeps the lower part of the oven cleaner. The knobs are a bit funky to turn as well, but all in all very happy with our purchase!

Where has this range been all my life?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cook and bake a lot, for a lot of people. It took years, and finally , the scientific data on air quality problems with gas ranges, to do the switch. Bosch was the one and only induction stove/invection oven I'd consider after spending months looking into all the options, quality, and reviews of all the ranges available. Bosch came up in every category with uber-quality and design and functions, and we ran to the appliance store as soon as we knew which model we wanted.
This stove boils a whole pot of pasta water in a few minutes! It has a low setting for melting chocolate and keeping delicate sauces warm like my old gas range did, but it's more calibrated for perfection: no troubles with the dipping chocolate getting too hot or Hollandaise sauce separating. It works for my new flat-bottom steel wok, and I even get that sear with the resulting great taste, something I've only achieved in the past with my kamado. For all stovetop cooking it's a dream. Temp control of the burners is more precise than you can get with anything else, and when you turn that burner off or take the pan off, that burner area is cool, not hot: perfect scrambled eggs.
The oven is amazing. It has proofing that I've used at 100 degrees for breads and at 110 for Bulgarian Yogurt, and it's so steady that the quality of both is better than it's ever been, and easier, too. For regular baking, the guidelines for which racks and oven settings to use optimally are working beautifully. I use the guideline and everything comes out perfectly done that I've stopped checking so much as I used to: I trust this range.
In short, I wish I'd made up my mind years ago to get this Best Range *ever*, but I'm definitely making up for lost time.
PS: I forgot to mention: on top of all the A-List functionality, it's beautiful.

Beautiful and function

After searching for 3 years and starting a remodel of the kitchen, I chose the 800 series Induction Range for two reasons: it's pretty and it works. It works very well without being overpriced or pretentious. (Yes there are cheaper ovens, that have good reviews, but none looked right to me. This stove has the right balance for me). The induction top is simple and powerful, that boost function on each burner should be mentioned more, and the functions allow for more control than expected. The oven is similar though the controls are different than what I am used to. This is not a bad thing. I can appreciate simple design with many functions. Now about that fan, I believe that the ranges from a couple of years ago had a different fan. In my opinion the fan is very quiet to "it's on because I have the range set to 500 degrees" - yet it's still not loud. The build is solid and thoughtful. The screen is very easy to read from many angles and from across the room. I am very happy with this purchase.

Beautiful and fast, effective

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this Bosch induction stove. Much faster than my old electric cooktop. I love how I can change the temp and immediately see the result in the pan- cooler or hotter. The solid glass surface on top looks fantastic and is easy to clean- my old one had a rim around the edge that always caught crumbs. Definitely 5/5 for the cooktop and overall looks. The whole range is beautiful and looks like I spent 10k. Definitely upgraded the whole look of my kitchen. The only negatives I can mention: There is a buzzing and a fan when using the cooktop. Normal for induction, and not really that loud or bothersome to me (I am somewhat sensitive to noise.) definitely worthwhile to have a little noise for the perks of induction. Some pans noisier than others depending on heat level. The oven convection fan is a little noisy. But aren't all convection ovens? Mine is no worse than my exhaust fan on low. My old electric oven had a cooling fan too. Seems normal and acceptable to me. My largest complaint is there is no self cleaning feature and a limit to what you can use to clean with. Worried that over time this will be a problem. But I also know many ranges had problems with the finish flaking because of self clean. And I'd rather have to do some manual cleaning than have a busted oven. Wish I could have self cleaning and a durable finish, but maybe that isn't possible. Or maybe self cleaning is too hot for the induction too. Either way, easier cleaning is my only real complaint. Still giving it 5 stars. The oven does beep a little before full temp. Good to know, but it's at full temp 20 seconds later. No big deal to me. Overall it's fantastic at cooking and BEAUTIFUL.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased a "new build" apartment in which I had contractor-grade appliances. I tried for 6 month to deal with the electric range. It was a disaster. The oven temp fexuated widely and the surface burners were also unreliable. I finally decided that I had to make a change. I did tons of research and eventually decided on the 800 series induction range. What a difference! The range is beautiful and the oven is very accurate and responsive --even with pastry at altitude. The stove top works perfectly and was easy to adjust to, even after 30 years of gas stoves. Bosch is real quality

I love the amazing heat up speed at the burners and how easy it is to clean. The oven exhaust fan works great. Looking forward to many years of cooking pleasure. Thank you Bosch!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Takes a little care to protect the surface, but the temperature control and speed of heating is amazing. And, it looks good, too.
