Oven fan too loud

We've had this for 3 weeks now (transitioned from gas during total kitchen renovation) and love everything except the loud oven cooling fan. It prevents regular conversation anywhere near the unit the whole time it is in use and the 15-30 min cooldown afterwards. As we age background noise garbles our understanding of words due to normal high frequency hearing loss so being in the vicinity of this unit makes conversation problematic (I'm an ENT doctor in early 70s with otherwise very good hearing). I would not recommend this for anyone with hearing issues or over age 65. We are debating whether get rid of it and getting something quieter now that we are aware of this problem even though it works great at cooking. It would have been helpful, just like with your dishwashers, to have decibel ratings.

Fast Heating and Cooling Cooktop

Pretty incredible upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked the Bosch induction to replace my 30 year old electric range for several reasons. I am very happy with my other Bosch appliances and appreciate their longevity, design, build and construction so I looked at their ranges first. I did consider other high end industrial induction ranges but decided that Bosch had the best combination of features and price. I am extremely happy with my choice. Although there was a little bit of a learning curve, going from traditional electric to Induction, I'm now completely familiar with all of the Induction features and I LOVE my range. Luckily, all of my All Clad pans work well. The oven is also fantastic! I bake often and I am extremely happy with the results. I've made bread muffins and roasted chicken and fish, and everything comes out perfectly. All in all, I couldn't be happier with my Bosch induction range! It gives me the style, quality, convenience, and features I love.

Beautiful but a few flaws

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our Bosch induction stove is beautifully designed and works nicely in many ways. The oven heats quickly and evenly; the top burners are responsive. Still, the temperature dials are absolutely impossible to read -- the numbers and settings are written in tiny print that is located under an overhanging lip of the stovetop. Also, the burner temps aren't evenly graduated so there's little difference in heat between, say, 4 and 5 but a big difference 6 and 7.

beautiful with design flaw

Sleek and modern

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the previous 800 series Bosch Induction Range and loved it! When we moved into our new home we hated the appliances and repurchased the newest 800 series Bosch Induction Range and loved it even more than the previous version! The only difference between the previous stove and this one is the fan noise. I was surprised at how much louder this one is in comparison to the previous range. I sure hope that Bosch listens to the consumers and makes some changes to the fan! We have an open floor plan and it is heard clear across the room! Not fun when you are trying to have a conversation or listening to music!
