Reliable Oven Range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this oven now for over a year and it's been super reliable. Agree with the audible fan, but honestly don't even notice it, perhaps I'm used to it by now. It's super easy to clean and have never had an issue with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Never had an induction oven it's kind of like gas it's on or off and I love that heats up quick then when you turn it off or remove the pan the burner is off and not hot so more efficient I also like that there is no bottom drawer and the rack system inside is awesome

Finally: induction all electric range

We have been planning this for 2 years. We initially bought a single place portable inductive top (Duxtop) to see how this worked. It worked well but the fan made a loud noise making normal speech in the kitchen difficult. So we thought this is part of induction cooking. We then found a neighbor with an inductive cooktop to test out. It was not noisy but the controls on top and no knobs made it a non-starter. B&B appliance did not have the one we wanted on the floor and even if they did, it was not live. Turns out it is impossible to test one of these unless you drive to Irvine where one can try one out at the BSH Home Appliance showroom. We did this, brought our pans and pancake mix. When we got there we were told that we could not bring our own food in to cook. So we could not try out the range even though the advertising said clearly that this was a place to "test live appliances". We almost gave up. But we went in, saw how this one worked. It made a very loud buzzing noise when cooking on the inductive top. With all the pans they had. So now we thought this was how they worked. We again almost gave up. Luckily we did not because the one we bought and installed does not make a buzzing, vibration sound with our pans! Seems crazy that you would show appliances that have the worst characteristics not typical if one uses other pans or some other parameter is corrected. You should figure this out because you almost lost a sale. We have had this range for one day and cooked on it twice. It seems as good as we hoped. And we hope it will work well for many years.

Very Disappointed

We had the regular electric version of this and it was pretty good. We thought that by stepping up to induction and knowing that Bosch has built a name for itself in good design and mechanical engineering that we would be even more satisfied but sadly the opposite. As mentioned on other reviews the fan is TOO LOUD. The surface area of the heat elements is also not great, it gives poor coverage and even with cast iron pans that typically conduct the heat well the heat point is restricted to the cross area. I really wish more reviews had been available. There is nothing I hate more than bad design, well except for wasting money on bad design. We spent the money thinking it would be justified. We were wrong. Bosch, you can do so much better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent Range!
