Consider the fan noise before buying

I bought and returned (at a hefty restocking fee) this stove because of the very loud fan noise. I thought I could tolerate it, but I was wrong.
The level of noise to expect is a loud range exhaust fan. I.e., you won't be able to talk over the fan without raising your voice. If you are playing music in the kitchen, you effectively won't be able to hear it.
There are other ranges that are quieter, which is a shame since this stove is so pretty. I went with the cafe induction and the fan is about 10% the noise of this range.
Hopefully this is helpful for someone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Enjoying my new induction freestanding range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Decided to make the switch from nat gas to induction and have now used it to host dinners for 7-14 people and also just for two. I've gotten to use almost every function. Pros: easy cleaning, quick boil function and other presets options. Cons: the dials are covered by an overhang and b/c the lights are also overhead the oven dial, in particular, can be hard to read as the display doesn't indicated which function is selected. If you are over 50 this is a big deal where low light makes small print hard to read. I wish the knobs turned both directions.

Not entirely user friendly

The cooktop, which I care about most, works well enough, but there are other major design flaws with this range make this range less easy to use than it should be. Sadly, this seems to be consistent with my general experience with other BSH Home appliances (including the far worse Thermador dual fuel range which this replaced, which was designed exclusively for looks, not functionality). Oddly, the oven has no self-cleaning function, which is standard for ranges from most other manufacturers. The most limiting function is the use of early 1990s-era user unfriendly digital displays that make users first waste time trying to interpret and translate readouts into real words (yes, 30+ year old technology). The oven knob has tiny illegible print shaded under the cooktop overhang, with no corresponding digital readout, making it difficult to see settings. Once again, too much focus on form rather than function by this BSH brand appliance. There is no reason they shouldn't focus on both form and function, especially for something in this price range. Digital displays desperately need to be updated to 21st Century technology.

Great Induction Stove

Wonderful range

A wonder to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve given my gas range a workout over the years and my new Bosch range is better. The flat top has no rubber edges to catch good bits in. The induction is responsive and hot. The butter chocolate setting is perfect. The oven is great.
