Beautiful and fast, effective

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this Bosch induction stove. Much faster than my old electric cooktop. I love how I can change the temp and immediately see the result in the pan- cooler or hotter. The solid glass surface on top looks fantastic and is easy to clean- my old one had a rim around the edge that always caught crumbs. Definitely 5/5 for the cooktop and overall looks. The whole range is beautiful and looks like I spent 10k. Definitely upgraded the whole look of my kitchen. The only negatives I can mention: There is a buzzing and a fan when using the cooktop. Normal for induction, and not really that loud or bothersome to me (I am somewhat sensitive to noise.) definitely worthwhile to have a little noise for the perks of induction. Some pans noisier than others depending on heat level. The oven convection fan is a little noisy. But aren't all convection ovens? Mine is no worse than my exhaust fan on low. My old electric oven had a cooling fan too. Seems normal and acceptable to me. My largest complaint is there is no self cleaning feature and a limit to what you can use to clean with. Worried that over time this will be a problem. But I also know many ranges had problems with the finish flaking because of self clean. And I'd rather have to do some manual cleaning than have a busted oven. Wish I could have self cleaning and a durable finish, but maybe that isn't possible. Or maybe self cleaning is too hot for the induction too. Either way, easier cleaning is my only real complaint. Still giving it 5 stars. The oven does beep a little before full temp. Good to know, but it's at full temp 20 seconds later. No big deal to me. Overall it's fantastic at cooking and BEAUTIFUL.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased a "new build" apartment in which I had contractor-grade appliances. I tried for 6 month to deal with the electric range. It was a disaster. The oven temp fexuated widely and the surface burners were also unreliable. I finally decided that I had to make a change. I did tons of research and eventually decided on the 800 series induction range. What a difference! The range is beautiful and the oven is very accurate and responsive --even with pastry at altitude. The stove top works perfectly and was easy to adjust to, even after 30 years of gas stoves. Bosch is real quality

Really Enjoying My Bosch Range/Oven

I love the amazing heat up speed at the burners and how easy it is to clean. The oven exhaust fan works great. Looking forward to many years of cooking pleasure.

Great Oven, Same Complaints

I'm a pastry chef and while I wasn't looking for something commercial at home I still wanted quality features without spending 10k+. First, the cooktop is amazing, no complaints. We use it daily and are happy with the ease of use and effectiveness. I read multiple reviews before purchasing so I was aware of the loud cooling fan and difficult to read oven dial. So yes it is obnoxiously loud and the oven mode selection dial is horrible. If you don't have 20/20 vision and aren't wearing your glasses, you won't be able to see what you're doing. I've cooked just about everything from roasting large pieces of meats to cakes, breads, macaroons, meringues, pizzas and everything in between. The oven is pretty good. It does have hotspots and the convection feature isn't very good. When I've cook multi rack convection with trays of pastries, it really shows its incompetence. If you are baking for family and friends it does great but I wouldn't recommend if you are trying to bake for profit. There are far better less expensive dedicated ovens for that. Overall I'm happy with the oven. Solid 4 out of 5 stars

Beautiful and Highly Functional

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This range was exactly what I wanted for an induction stove. It boils water within a minute or two. The oven temperature is consistent, even when I don't use convection settings. I love how it uses old-school knobs to operate most features-- it is intuitive to use. My only quibble is that once you turn the stove temp down from the higher settings, it seems to go lower than I would call "medium heat." So I'm figuring out what is truly "medium" for this product. But overall, it looks beautiful in my kitchen and is easy to clean!
