Excellent oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Read reviews. Fan isn't that loud. Dials are hard to read but display helps. Only disappointment is the plastic feet though they don't look bad. Would have like to have one or both racks to roll out for this price. Oven is beautiful and love the style. So far it cooks great. Very pleased

Great Stove - Oven Just So-So

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love the look and functionality of our Bosch induction stove. It is perfect. The oven lacks in what should be, in our opinion, common features. For example, when you turn on the oven, it defaults to 350 degrees. Fine, but then, it doesn't show where it is temperature-wise during the heat up cycle. So, you have no idea how/when the oven will be ready for your dish. Also, a fan comes on that sounds like planes taking off at O'Hare, way too loud. Also, when the oven is at the desired temperature, it gives one not-so-audible ding. Period. That's it. So, you have to hang around close to the oven so as to hear when it is ready. Our opinion is great stove, but not such a great oven.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a professional chef and am very happy with the straighforward lack of wing-dings on this thing. Just a reliable oven and effecient induction cook top. Some negative reievew I read before purchase mentioned a very loud oven fan and it almost kept me from buying this oven, but thank goodness I did anyway. The oven fan is as loud as a microwave fan or hood fan on mediu-high (depending on the intensity of your fans). It is not disruptive. It does, however, do a great job at mainating a consisten temperature. Highly recommned. Plus, it's beautiful and I like that I can easily clean underneath it because there's no bottom drawer.

My only complaint is the burns make an interesting noise when on that takes some getting used to.

Unreliable Probe and Backwards Technology

I recently purchased the Bosch HIS8055U induction range, attracted by its sleek design and promise of advanced cooking technology. However, my experience with this range has been frustratingly disappointing, to say the least.
Firstly, the design flaw in the control area is immediately noticeable. The cooktop overhangs the control panel, making the dials difficult to read. This issue is exacerbated by the polished steel knobs, which feature tiny black writing that is nearly impossible to discern. This poor design choice not only affects the aesthetic appeal but also significantly hampers the functionality and ease of use.
The major letdown, however, was the total failure of the cooking probe. This feature, which I was particularly excited about, turned out to be a huge disappointment. During my Christmas dinner preparation, I relied on the probe to indicate when the poultry reached the desired temperature of 165 degrees. Shockingly, the probe did not display the current temperature of the food, showing only the set temperature. When I double-checked with my quick-read thermometer, it showed an alarming 178 degrees – well overcooked and far beyond what the Bosch probe should have allowed. This not only ruined an important meal but also raised serious concerns about the reliability and safety of this feature.
Lastly, the digital interface, which Bosch touts as a 'smart' feature, is anything but. Its operation is counterintuitive, and the interface feels outdated and inefficient. Far from being a helpful addition, it adds to the frustration of using this range.
While the Bosch HIS8055U might have an appealing exterior, its functionality, usability, and reliability, especially in cooking, are, in my experience, horrendous. It’s a classic case of style over substance, and I am deeply regretful of my purchase. For anyone considering this model, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Looks great - don't understand the hype?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this oven in September 2023 and it was delivered in October 2023. I really like the look of this oven and it's great to have induction as a solid choice for people who don't have natural gas in their neighborhood. The cooktop cleans like a dream - no more 'cooktop cleaner' required to get spills finally to go away. It doesn't boil water in under a minute though - but maybe I'm using the wrong burner size for my pot? I also like the oven and the special settings for convection, etc. that helps food cook faster and more evenly. If I had a chance to buy again, I may not buy the model with the legs - although I like the look, it's not practical. I miss having the storage under the oven for cooking sheets, broiler pans, etc. and things roll under the oven (mostly dog toys) that need to be retrieved with a long handled broom. It also gets pretty dusty under there - normally it's under the oven and you don't notice, but now it's easily seen in that open space!
