Great quality and lots of features

Just got everything delivered and installed and the new dryer all set up. Seems to do a great job on our Rest king size sheet set. Haven’t had much time to sort out all the features but seems like a good quality machine but time will tell with our full house.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Horrible!!! Huge problem. Does not work!

If I could give this -5 I would. Absolutely awful. In the first month 3 things broke on in the igniter broke, door sensor and then the whole motherboard. And the company was difficult to get ahold of to fix it.
Also the dryer has a “sensor” but will turn off and then tell you on the app “clothes are still damp” well then why’d you turn off???!!! Not happy with it at all!! Do not buy! Don’t buy the washer either !
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a review of the GFD55GSPRRS dryer. The unit is very cosmetically appealing, that dark blue color is so sweet looking. The dryer is light and easy to connect. The lighted, 7.8 cubic foot drum is huge and appreciated! I like the BIG front door on the unit. I like the surface area on the top of the unit to use as a temporary workspace. I do not like the fact that most of the heat controls are locked out on the drying mode selected. Being the end-user of the dryer, I want to be able to select ANY heat settings and times just like our old 'dumb' dryer. I wish the smartphone app had a little more control over the dryer. For the most part, the unit is average on noise BUT, the gas solenoid and/or ignitor relay is LOUD, but at least I know it is working. Not crazy about a folding lint catcher but, we will see how long that holds up to opening, cleaning, and closing after EVERY load. 4 stars should do the trick!
