The bundled linkbuds are duds.

The three pairs I've had before never had any issues and worked great. This time however, no sound in one sometimes both earbuds.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We also recommended updating the firmware of the headphones (via the Sony Headphones Connect app) for optimum performance. The software update improves the general performance of the unit and includes key features, applications, and bug fixes.

Short Life Span

NO, NO, NO! Look at all these reviews with dead battery issues. Mine lasted almost 2 years and now will not charge. Granted, that's 24 months but I used these less than 50 times. Save your $ and find something that is reliable.

-Clean the Charging Ports: Sometimes, debris or dust can accumulate in the charging ports of both the earbuds and the charging case, preventing a good connection. Gently clean them with a dry cotton swab.

Amazing, but battery issues.

I've had these for a year and a half, and they're incredible, minus one huge issue. The battery in the right earbud was a dud, and it started to drain like crazy(20 minutes). They were out of warranty, so I bought a replacement battery kit online and replaced the batteries myself off of a youtube video. I would assume they've fixed the battery issue by now, so I would buy them again if it were necessary. Great audio quality, and great ANC.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ive had the product for about 2 years, and while very comfortable in the ear and great sound, the battery in the earbuds has given up and they no longer hold very much charge. They last 20 minutes before they end up dying.

Bluetooth connectivity is a joke

Have owned for 2 years. Sound quality is fine but Bluetooth connectivity is absolutely pitiful. Effective range of about 2.5 feet and will disconnect constantly in any sort of crowded environment like the gym or subway.

Here are some quick things you can try to improve the connection: 1. Bluetooth signals can get crowded in busy spots, especially with lots of devices around. If possible, keep your phone or device as close to the earbuds as you can, with no thick walls or metal objects in between. 2. Make sure your earbuds and the device you’re using have the latest software updates. Great Earbuds

I like how the battery of the earbuds last. These are better than using the earbuds or headphones with wires in my opinion. I like how I don't have to always replace my earbuds

I have trouble with noise cancelling ear buds, found these and they work so seamlessly. These buds give all the comfort and functionality as noise cancelling buds without feeling like you're underwater and have to remove one just to hear yourself talk.

Faulty battery

Bought these just over a year ago and the left bud doesn’t stay charged for more than 20 minutes. Sony doesn’t stand behind their product
