Cheap plastic cover produces loud noise

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It does the job, but the plastic cover that goes around the front of the unit is cheap plastic that tends to vibrate excessively and produces a very distracting noise.

We purchased this air conditioner couple of weeks ago. It is Big and beautiful. It cools beautifully but one of the faults I have is the snapping sounds it makes when it kicks in and out constantly. It is in our living room where we both sit and it constantly clicks and clicks. The second fault is I cannot adjust the vents. I originally got them to point up but I cannot move them down, I'm afraid they will break they're that tight. Otherwise, it's great.
