Finally, an affordable great kids backpack.

We have been looking for a kid sized backpacking backpack for a while to fit my very small 9 year old. The limited other brands that make them are so high priced. We already have an adult sized High Sierra pack that we love the fit of, so I came looking on the website for a kid sized, and here it was! It has all the features of the adult one in a smaller size, and fits very well. (My kid who received it is a slim size 7/8.)

Sturdy comfortable pack with lots of storage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This backpack is well made and has lots of pockets to store essential gear while camping or hiking. The padded straps are comfortable and adjustable to fit. This particular pack was a little too big for my 8 year old (about 48" tall, 50 lbs) but he'll grow into it soon enough.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bag is big without being too big! It can carry all your needs in just one pack. The back padding is extremely comfortable with all the straps it replaces weight evenly so it’s not such a heavy load when full. I wish they had offered more color options. The yellow is hi viz. It didn’t come with a water pack but can hold up to 50L. I haven’t tried it yet because it didn’t provide one. I talked a great bag.

Exactly what we needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 14 year old son is an avid hiker and a very busy boy scout. He and his Dad are often out camping and hiking, but it has been really difficult to find a backpack that would work for him. Most youth hiking packs have fallen apart fast, not fitted many items and when we tried adult they were too big and heavy for him. This Pathway Youth 2.0 hiking backpack has been amazing. He can fit all of his needed gear in it and it is not too big or bulky for him to carry. He can move easily and that is so important for safety.

Great Backpack

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love it the Pathway Youth 2.0 that we got for our son. We go hiking quite often so it is perfect for our son to use. We really like that it is designed to have the option to use a hydration sleeve with it when needed. Something we REALLY like is that the back panel can be adjusted as my son grows. We also believe it would be very good to use while traveling by plane...easy to carry and good size.

Perfect for hiking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this because I like to hike. I was looking for a pack that is lightweight and holds a lot. This pack met all my expectations. The packs straps are so comfortable. They are very cushiony. I also like that it has a strap that goes around your stomach and fastens. I also like the back pads so it sits comfortably on your back. I love how it has so many pockets in it. There are pockets everywhere for every little thing you would need. I also love how roomy it is. You can pack a whole lot in this pack. It is also very deep on the inside. This pack is perfect for hiking. I recommend anyone that is looking for a pack that is lightweight and very roomy.
