Love Timex reliability/Need better bands

The watch is easy to use and I like the look. The problem is the band. I thought the fabric/plastic composite band of the Expedition would be more durable than the all plastic bands. I've had the watch for about a year and the band is tearing where the fabric is inlaid into the plastic. It's a disappointment that after a year, I have to buy another band. I still like the watch.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Compass is worthless

Good basic watch. Good option for saltwater use. REAL negative is the compass - absolutely worthless bit of plastic. I am cutting the little band that holds it off.

Glad to back on Timex

This is my second Timex Expedition and I like them. I wear it everywhere except the shower and it is my alarm clock. The compass is kind of a joke, it is accurate to about 90 degrees. I retired my first Expedition after 10 years when the light stopped working. I used a fitness tracking watch (band omitted) for three years until Google purchased them so I took a hammer to my wrist mounted spyware. Glad to be back with Timex, I don't have to charge it and I don't have to keep the blue tooth hot on my phone so its battery lasts twice as long. Bang for Buck these are great watches.

It's cheap, waterproof, and has a timer, alarm, and stopwatch function. What's not to like? It won't last forever, but neither will I.

I love these watches and the easy programming of all the features. I've had six or seven. But the watches always die or go haywire in less than a year. I have a watch in to Timex for repair right now. I don't like that they don't last very long. It gets very expensive but I have to have a watch.

Instructions are desperately needed to set all the parameters of the watch. We were trying to change the day and we had no way of knowing how to make this change. YUK!!
