I bought this for my wife. I thought it had the heart beat monitor. I must've bought the wrong model. It's OK though for she absolutely adores it. Seriously considering getting the model with the heart beat monitor still since she absolutely loves this one!
I like all things about this watch but the strap is a HUGE problem. The strap is designed to fit under a little loop to keep it from flapping around. It is, however, extremely difficult to get the strap under the loop and extremely difficult to get out from under the loop as well. I would like to know if I can return this watch and purchase a different one.
Many features that I like, some I'll never use. At 77 yrs old, I could not fasten the keeper over the band. I ended up using a utility knife to whittle the lump on the inside of the keeper. All I really wanted was a watch with a shock-resistant crystal.
I’m delighted with the watch so far. I love the aubergine colour, and the watch sits very neatly on my wrist. The time etc is easy to set. I haven’t tested it swimming yet.
I can not hear the timer chime without putting the watch next to my ear. The button to adjust the setting from time to chrono to timer etc fell off in my hand when I first set the time. I put the button back in place and fortunately it has not fallen off again. I have not had these problems with Timex Ironman watches that I purchased in the past.
This is a great watch I've had it different versions of it pretty much have tried every single color over the past 30 years. I was a swim instructor for 10 years and the watch last to me for a good 5 years I only had to replace it once and I was in the water everyday.
