So easy to operate

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very impressed with this dehumidifier. There was no learning curve. Took it out of the box, plugged it in and let it go. It will operate for 250 hrs. and then it will alert you to clean the filter; You can set the humidity within a certain range or you can let it run continuously, which is what I do because we have had so much rain lately. I live in an older home, with an additional room that was added on to the other side of the garage. It has no air or heat and in the summer, it is extremely humid in that space. I just set the fan speed on high to achieve maximum results (the room is approx. 700 sq. ft.)..you have the option to attach a drain hose if you are using in a basement with a drain or you can just let the bucket fill up and empty it. The unit automatically turns itself off and the indicator light shows that the bucket is full. This is a great feature if you are going to be away for awhile. Just set it an forget it. It is also on wheels, which makes it very easy to maneuver on a hard floor. I am no spring chicken, but it is not so heavy that I could not lift it out of the box, but it is substantial. I would highly recommend this product.
