This mattress (full size) has the firmness I've wanted, and have not found in a traditional mattress. It is not "board like" firm. It gives slightly, but doesn't slump, and cause loss support in lower back. I wondered prior to selecting the Tuft&Needle, if the much higher priced competition, would have offered a superior product. After a couple of weeks sleep, I can't imagine how!

It's the most comfortable mattres I've ever slept on. The perfect combination of soft and firm. The only complaints I have is you can't really sit on the side, you feel as if your going slide off. And we purchased the king and put it on our existing box spring , and it's about 3 inches shorter. But for sleeping (which is the most important part) it's awesome.
