Because most King-size mattress es are 14" thick...so if you offered a 2 to 4" riser to bring the bed back to where it should be you would have gotten a 10....

The purchasing experience was seamless. Marketing material was honest and insightful, lots of good metrics without gimmicks.
I don't know if everyone would like the mattress though, at this point I believe my wife likes it better than I do, we'll see if we make it to 100 nights.
