Mattress is very comfortable. Previously had significant problems with pain in my hips. I was considering another mattress but yours weighs 1/3 less. Still had a problem getting the mattress up the steps to the bedroom (I am 73 years old). How about putting a couple of step climber wheels on the base.

It's a great mattress . We started off with a queen size n then loved it so much IWe moved that mattress into guest bedroom & ordered 2 Twin XL to make up a split king for our Master bedroom . Thanks Tuft & Needle for making great mattresses .

I use to get into bed carefully as to not hit the tender spots on my hips....if I did I would jump in pain...then I'd have to wait a few minutes to try it again...after a few years of this and a lot of research, I bought a new tuft and needle....I've had it now 10 days and now I just jump into bed and nothing poking me in my hips....best sleep I've had in years! The only thing I regret is not doing it sooner...the pain in my hips seems to have calmed down a bit too....I loved the fact this was the only mattress I could put on top of box springs, I love a high mattress vs a low one...like sleeping on a cloud!

It is a well crafted bed and very comfortable, but for me it's not working out. I'm waking with numb hands several times during the night as is my wife. I'm 6'2" and weight 275lbs and this bed is just a little too firm for me as I am a side sleeper.
