My husband got this for me for Christmas. I think he bought it more for himself. Either way, we are both enjoying the easiness of having hot water at our fingertips without the hazard of forgetting to take the teapot off the oven.

I am in love with my new Cuisinart electric tea kettle. It is faster than my gas stove using a tea kettle. I use it not only for tea, I have used it to make soups, instant oatmeal and used it to heat up water and then pour it into a kettle for noodles. Anytime I need hot water I turn to my electric tea kettle. Love It !!

Replaced a plastic tea kettle with this stainless steel one when I did a kitchen makeover. It is so noisy when heating up you cannot hear the kitchen radio over it. Looks nice and I like the stand it sits on and heats fast. But if you want wit this is not for you.
