The tea kettle is kept on my counter, for ease of use, and because it's very attractive. The on lever is in a great location, and the water heats up very quickly. The kettle fits easily on the base. I love how the water level indicator lights up in blue, but would prefer it were more visible. I'd buy this again if I needed another.

this expensive, stupid tea kettle doesn't even have a "keep warm" feature. I wish I had known this before I bought it. Still, the portable feature gives it a two stars instead of one.

We purchased this Electric Cordless Tea Kettle to replace an older Cuisinart Electric Cordless Tea Kettle that was just worn out. The new one does a good job infact I think it heats up a little better. I liked the shape of the old one better. It looked more like a tea kettle and the new one looks more like a coffee pot.
