Love my teapot but after 10 years It no longer shuts off when It reaches a temperature. It just keeps boiling. I unplugged it and tried to reset it but no change. Is the thermostat in the pot? So i don't need the heating element just a new pot?

I bought this Electric Cordlless water kettle about 3 months ago and I am disappointed in that I have to hold down the button to make the water kettle work. Overall it is a good quality water kettle but this is a flaw that I did not know about. I wish I would have purchased the other Cuisinart Tea kettle that you have push button to select how hot or cold you want your water.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

These tea kettles are very nice. Brings to a rolling boil quickly and look good if left out on a counter as we do. I had the one with the water temperature option for a few years and just replaced it. I liked that one a little better because it beeped when it shut off and I miss the “stay hot” feature. Otherwise, both are great but the features may lean you toward a specific choice. ☕️
