The Cuisinart Cordless tea kettle is replacing one that lasted about 2 years from a more generic brand. So far the month I have had with this Cuisinart has been flawless. AS the body is stainless steel it is a bit hot so be careful when taking it from the stand....keep your hand on the handle and avoid the body. It is quiet, quick and designed to blend in, not take over the kitchen. Bravo.
