At last! A Stainless Tea Kettle that can withstand the the abuses of well water! We have a water softener and an "Iron Curtain". Yet we have gone through many a tea kettle because of staining and corrosion. But leave it to Cuisinart to come through with the ultimate stain free, easy-to-use tea kettle! The Cuisinart Electric Kettle is a great improvement for us. We love the look and size of the kettle and the fact that it is wireless. It boils water quickly. In comparison, the kettle we’re replacing was small, plastic, and not wireless. We rely on Cuisinart quality and have many Cuisinart products.

In general I like this electric tea kettle. The lid kept on popping open after a few weeks of use. I cleaned it very well with hot vinegar water and that seems to have solved the problem.
