Remote no backlight

The machine itself is great but my remote control comes with this AC has no backlight. Does it have backlight and mine is just broken or the remote does not have back light at all? It is so annoying that the only way to change something when my room is dark is to pick up my phone, turn on the flashlight (which is not good when you’re sleepy), point it to the remote in order to see and change things. It’s really inconvenient.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great for 2 years but stopped working after 2 years

Happy with purchase!

So far so great! Within ~30 minutes of setting this unit up we are incredibly pleased with it already. Took almost no time at all to cool the entire room (large bedroom) and is quieter than the last 3 portable AC units we’ve had!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I really liked the portable AC. Was able to cool my 3 rooms apartement in temperature above 30 celsius. Sadly, the cooler broke off 2 years after, but was quickly replace.
I would recommend this to a friend!
