Worth the extra money

This is our second Danby portable air conditioner. Our 1st is 10yrs old and running strong. This 2nd purchase is for a different area of our house and it has been excellent. Dandy's warranty is longer and these units are worth any extra money. Also don't cheap out on BTU's. Even if you don't need quite so much the square feet it may say, it's worth it to me to buy up and you have a stronger machine not working as hard. We have never used the dehumidifier function so no idea on that part. Have a nice day.

Danby Air Conditioner - 300 square foot room

Purchased the danby air conditioner during the recent heatwave and it kept up to cooling our bedroom and office down to 23 degrees while outside it was 36 degrees and 30+ everywhere else in the house.
Would recommend for spaces between 150 to 500 square feet.

Extreme HEAT made my LG Malfunction and I had to disposal of it and find something quick and I was lucky to find a machine at Best Buy, Barrie ON SALE. I have had it running now for over 3 weeks and so far it is doing the trick for us. This Danby 3-in-1 is much quieter than the LG and it works at lot faster in cooling our Livingroom. Right now my wife and I are very satisfied with this purchase and of the machine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It’s ok, but the hose and attachments are a joke.

Why do they need to save, what maybe $3 or 4 dollars and have terrible connections that release and pop out all the time?
