Dehumidifier

I have only used it a couple of days, but all seems to be working well, and it runs fairly quiet. I have attached a horse on the back for continuous flow, not sure how that is going to work yet.

A compact and easy to use humidifier.

The product is well designed, and compact. Controls are easy and intuitive to use, and there is the option to use the internal water bucket, or to drain continuously via external hose.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Happy to have bought again

This is my second Danby dehumidifier. I was very pleased with the first one. It keep the basement dry. It's sleek style didn't take up much space. Now with the new Govt. way of measuring humidity I was able to go to a smaller size that does the same efficient job.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy set-up and seems to be working great! Emptied bucket for first time and it was easy removal and putting back in.

My first Danby lasted 9 years, I hope this one will serve me just as long.

Our 2014 Danby 30 pint dehumidifier stopped working (just short of 9 years of usage) so we replaced it with this 22 pint model and it seems to be working quite well. We bought a Danby as a gift in 2019 and theirs is working well too. Before we used Danby dehumidifiers, we were lucky to get 3 to 4 years usage out of other brands of dehumidifiers.
The only negative things that I noticed is the water bucket is less than half the size of my previous model so i had to empty it 3 times in the past 24 hours. This is not going to be a problem for me as I plan to attach a hose since it is sitting next to a floor drain in my basement and I was just collecting the water in the bucket to make sure that it is functioning well. The first Danby we purchased in 2014 included a short flexible hose which was really nice! I had planned to use the same hose since the are no longer included, but the female threaded hose fitting is too deep to properly seal and the water would leak out. So I am going to add some rubber hose washers to see if the fitting will tighten up enough.
I like that the default setting is 40 percent humidity and changing it up higher is very easy. The timer settings are good that you can have delayed on or delayed off settings. The fan noise levels are both good and the compressor seems very quite. Less vibration than the 2014 model.

New Danny dehumidifier

I'm hoping this dehumidifier works as well as the Danby model DDR2 504 that I purchased in July of 2004. It worked well until this year when I plugged it in when summer arrived. but the compressor no longer functioned. Since I've only used the replacement model for two days, at this time I'm giving it a current thumbs up rating of 5 stars, so hope my rating won't change for a long time!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Value Unit

Overall value unit for the price. Good for small to medium size spaces. Wouldn't recommend for bedroom as it is loud.
