Good unit however poor quality control, terrible manual, weak software

So Happy yet so disappointed. I installed the unit myself in a very short period of time however the specs for width are so wrong. They should show the size needed including the side covers. My opening is 20.5 inches so getting a 19 inch wide unit should be good, wrong!! the valance doesn't compress enough to use it and now I have a 1.5 inch hole in the side of my window. Second issue is the styrofoam inside is all busted up and I didn't notice till after installation. It's impossible to repack and return with the box design that it came in so Now I have to wait to see how responsive the warranty dept is and I will update as it progresses. Issue number 3 is there is no indication whatsoever the function of the push and pull lever at the front under the directional grates??? another issue is each controller, (app, remote, front of machine) can show a different setting so I am not sure which setting is in play until I turn the one I want to use off and then on again. The others don't sync which is poor IMO

have bought 2 of these units and even with proper maintenance and care its only good for 2 seasons . other brands are much more reliable will not be buying a danby again it worked great for only one season, cant even find a complete breakdown or parts for it
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
