Nice unit, well-built, love the cooking area and the wheels. It does have some draw backs: the air temp. readout on the control panel is off by 30-50 degrees, compared to the set point on the dial. The open flame slide is difficult to open and close, as I would recommend a push/pull lever that attaches to the slide plate from outside the grill. Finally, the auger clean out port is nice, but it is located above the auger rather than below it, which means pellets are still in the auger after clean out, and require priming them into the fire pot to clear the auger.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Seems to be well made and it was relatively easy to assemble. Haven't used it yet because it is too cold in my area. That leads me to a disappointment-Cuisinart doesn't have a thermal blanket for it and they can't recommend another brand that will work on this model. I should have checked this out before I bought it.
