This machine has more than enough storage for my digital video files, and plenty of horsepower to run mainstream editing programs. The processor and RAM allow for smooth playback, quick rendering and very fast resonse times. The SSD makes start up almost instantaneous and the OS runs much faster and with hardly any lag.

This is a fair operating system with a few quirks to it if you can get past the MS Win 10 stuff and commercials constantly interrupting processes you may be working on at the time. Constant HP sales gimmicks and MS sales and pop ups is very disruptive to trying to accomplish a single thought often. Would not traditionally recommend this particular product to a friend, especially now with MS coming out with Win 11, what a mess that will be! Features on this OS are friendly to a point and performance has been a 3 star so far. Not certain how far this will last however.

Overall I am happy with this desktop. It has good speed and can handle most anything. My biggest beef with this is that that HP decided to put all the high speed USB inputs on the front panel of the desktop instead of on the back where it makes so much more sense to have these located, especially the small "C" type which I want to use with my Focusrite Scarlett audio interface. Why would you put this on the front panel and not also have one on the back???
