Compact and easy to use

I saw the Omega Cold Press 365 juicer and new I had to buy it. It is so easy to use and has so many wonderful recipes that I will never get bored with juicing. This has been a real life saver as my health is better than it ever has been before. Easy to clean and compact enough that it stores very easy in my cabinets.

Minimal flaw: spills while juicing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had a juicer before, but oh my, what a difference! it was big and bulky and so difficult to clean. First off this Omega juicer comes very well packaged, no parts are moving and it all arrives in one piece. The first thing I did was to pull everything out of the box, sat down and took the time to carefully read the user manual, this is a crucial step. Next, I washed by hand each part that needs to be washed, and after they were all dry, assembled it following the instructions, understanding what you read right before beginning to use any given equipment is the most important step, and I can not stretch this enough, because after I assembled the juicer and was ready to make my first juice, I pressed the button and nothing happened, after going over the assembling instructions once more I realized that there was one piece I had not placed properly, and that is great because it is a safety feature, the juicer will not start if there is something not placed exactly how it is supposed to be, but after I fixed it, then boom! I was able to hear the machine beeping and the digital screen lighting up in red, ready to begin. I tried with carrots first, it took almost 2 pounds of carrots for a 12 ounce glass, but that's the thing about juicing, it's going to take lots of material to extract juice and juice only. I love that it is a vertical model, so it is the size and takes about the same space as my blender, which now they sit next to each other. The operating buttons are straight forward: after the digital screen(which is the little square that lights up in red) it has a button that you press once for firmer fruits and veggies, or press twice for softer ones, then a reverse button, and lastly the on/off button. The machine is very quiet, I'm sure we all love this feature, it is so convenient, and avoids scaring the "cwap" out of babies, little children and pets. This juicer is intended for home use and not to make for a big crowd at a time, actually it tells you in the manual that you should only operate for 10min at a time, as the motor over heats. So far the only flaw I have found with this machine is that when juicing, the juice bowl (the clear thingy that has the spout where the juice comes out of) well this specific part just sits where it sits, but it was obviously not well thought-out... while juicing, at some point the juice starts spilling from the juice bowl down to the sides of the juicer, this is kind of annoying because when ready to remove all parts to wash them you need to be careful and be ready with something to soak up the juice collected around this area before it spills further. I strongly suggest you rinse/wash everything right away as the stuff left behind dries quickly, making it difficult to wash, the juicer does come with a handy dandy brush, the opposite end of the brush has a mini scraper, you will find this tool a must to clean out every part, but always remember: safety first!... when done juicing, press the off button and unplug your machine, then proceed to remove the washable parts, and wipe down any spills, if you do it in the moment, then you can have your juicer ready to go each time. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am loving my new juicer. It's so easy to put the parts together and even easier to use. I love that it is a cold press juicer, keeping the heat away to make sure I get all those wonderful nutrients and flavors I want and need. I have been creating all kinds of fruit/vegetable blends to customize the juice to meet my family and my own needs. I was even able to sneak in a couple veggies with the fruit and got my 10 year old grandson to drink it and like it. That is Juice-tastic to me. Easy cleanup as well most parts are dishwasher safe. Being vertical and pretty, it takes up minimal room so I can leave it right on the counter for easy access. Plus it encourages me to use it more. I'm feeling better and more energized and it's all thanks to the Omega Juicer. Everyone need to get one of these.
