Great set

He has been playing with and building with Legos for a long time so I knew he would be ok even though it says ages 8+. Comes with a big book of instructions and individual bags of legos. Makes it easy to follow instructions since you open one bag at a time. This set is really cool since there are a lot of parts that move. I know Lego friends is normally geared towards girls wanting to build too but I think it’s really for boys and girls. Only difference is the Lego friends mini figures are a little different than “normal” ones. Took him less than 2 hours to build by himself.

The Ultimate in Science, Imagination, and Fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Both my husband and I played with Legos growing up, and we just love that our children love them too! Olivia's Space Academy combines a superior level of learning with fun. Science IS fun, and this set proves that! Like all Lego products, this is innovative, fun, educational, and well crafted. Picture taking a real space academy and shrinking it down to a tiny size, with all the bells and whistles that teach about space and astronaut training. Our kids were immersed in this all day long. Imagination, pretending, and learning about being an astronaut, will keep your children engrossed for hours. There are a lot of pieces in this set, so we keep them in labeled zip lock style baggies. This is a set that we know will be passed down for years to come. We play with it with our kids, and I'm sure they will play with it with their children too, one day!

Fun and Educational

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughters (8 and 10) love this LEGO set! They were very excited when they opened it and were totally captivated by this set. It was the perfect challenge, but easy enough to follow the directions. It is helpful that the legos are separated into bags. The instruction book is easy to follow. I recommend storing the legos in separate bags to make it easier to build the second time. My 10 year old wants to display this set in her room. It is the perfect combination of cool and educational. The detail is great and the kids had a blast playing with this after they built it. I love LEGOS because they have a very high play value. This set is no exception; it is excellent.

Great Set, Fun Instructions!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is 4.5 and loves legos but lacks the patience to follow many sets all the way through. I’m more than happy to help though because they were my favorite toy as a kid. This you download an app for the instructions and it walks you through them on a phone or tablet. He lasted WAY longer than usual and had a blast until we had the spaceship built and then he played w that while I finished the set. It does take a little longer watching the video than paper instructions for me.
It’s an awesome set and he’s still playing with it three weeks later, so it’s a win!

Let's All Go On A Space Adventure!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am taking my grandchildren to Space Camp this summer and this new LEGO set has been the perfect family activity to get everyone excited for this latest adventure. Although this set has over 750 bricks, they were well-organized in numbered plastic bags and coordinated perfectly with the excellent visuals in the extra-large instruction booklet. They were easy to follow and helped us to slowly create one accessory after another as we lead up to the Space Shuttle. I can't wait to see my grandchildren's reactions when they see the real-life objects at the Space Center. What a great way to encourage learning and creativity!

Super great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With minimal supervision, my 6 year old was able to put it together. He did most of the work. I mostly just kept him on track and checked his work as he went. He was super-excited the entire time. It was a fun experience for both of us. He likes to show it off to his friends and our other visitors.Looks brilliant completed.Overall, I would recommend this product. Fun for all ages.

There is so many great features about this Lego set there has been many hours of fun and entertainment with the set of Legos I highly recommend you giving this product a try
