Great modular build

This set is phenomenal in my modular city bloc, fits into city scene well with neutral colors, strong exterior design. Only complaint is the price with the lack of interior. The second floor is very empty and interior has significant amount of empty space. Otherwise awesome build, and from the outside looks great!

Reminds Me of The Boutique

While I love the build, I don’t much like that this was so similar to my boutique build. I know, I know, it’s hard to make a building appear different, and I like the attention paid to pieces of the movie, but I guess I wanted a little more perhaps. It was great fun, as always, and looks terrific in my office. Ultimately, I love the set.

This set is magical!

I love this set! it has a great build with very interesting building techniques. This set also has great play features such as the portal that leads to other dimensions and the interchangeable walls. This set also has a vast amount of easter eggs referencing The first Doctor Strange movie, Thor Ragnarok, and so many other marvel movies. The only downside to this set is the characters. The amount of mini figures you get in this set is not enough. I feel like they could have done so many things with characters. They could have added Mr. Fantastic or Professor X from the movie and the set would have been so much better. Besides the flaw with the characters, I would very much recommend this set, as it looks good on display and is so much fun to build.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Must have for Marvel collectors!

Love this set! It is kind of a mix of Dr Strange MoM, and Spider-man NWH and is a wonderful centerpiece to add more sets around it and integrate.

After building this set, I only have one complaint being the amount of stickers (45). Other than that this is an awesome building, i recommend you purchase this item.

Great Build, Lacking Figs

This is an amazing build with great detail and easter eggs, no doubt. I had fun building as I do with most modular sets. Marvel Modular may be the best thing to happen to Marvel Lego. My main gripe....the figs. There aren't enough...(see Daily Bugle with 20+ figs, only like $100 more). I also feel like the figs provided could have been more exclusive, especially Wong and Doctor Strange. Figs they could've added....America Chavez, the Ancient One, Kaecilius, Thor, Loki, Bruce Banner, Cull Obsidian, Christine Palmer....maybe some spidey villains. Just feels like for this price point and given precedent, this should've been a 12-14 fig set.

Mistakes were made when designing this set

I bought it before the box changed to "Infinity Saga" and it referenced "Multiverse of Madness". This will be important in a moment. First of all, way, way too many stickers for the expense of the set. The set includes a lot of minifigs which I guess is supposed to give you "bang for the buck" but several characters, including Spiderman and Ironman, don't appear in the movie (which is why the set was probably renamed) however those two characters appear in a lot of sets, they weren't needed here, they are probably a distraction actually. The buildings scale is not great for play as space is very, very tight and some areas you build are not accessible at all after building. It's a cool set but a lot of missed opportunities and with so many stickers, many small, it just doesn't feel the same quality as I feel we normally get from Lego. I feel like too many of the wrong things were included which for cost, meant some of the right things needed to be removed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So-so build with continued QA issues

I hesitated purchasing this at launch mainly because the minifigs looked underwhelming given how awesome the Daily Bugle minifigs are. I finally caved and bought it as a personal Christmas gift. The overall build is pretty bland. There are several new (or at least new to me) pieces which were fun to see. The play features are buried inside and difficult to access without removing building floors. Three large, cool-looking decals end up hidden behind a wall. Some of the Easter eggs gave me a chuckle, but the Bugle and Ghostbusters Firehouse have, what I think, are better nods and throwaways to canon and lore. My biggest gripe is this $250 set, which I purchased directly from LEGO, was missing a large two-stud sloped piece, so now I have a gap in the roof. And to have that come near the end of the build just sucks all the fun out of it. I know I can contact customer care and they’ll make it right but this is set number six or seven in as many months that has had missing pieces. Most recently the Statue of Liberty, the tree house, Haunted House, etc, etc. it’s getting to the point where I don’t trust spending hundreds of dollars on LEGO products anymore.
