Exceeded all expectations!

One of the most entertaining builds I have had in awhile! It took my 11 year old daughter and I a few days to complete. It has so many cool Easter eggs hidden throughout the build. This is out first modular city type build and I think we might be hooked on these now. We have started talking about building a city now. Great build, great selection of figures and worth the price! Prepare to be wowed!

I really love this set. I’ve always been a fan of marvel but never got into marvel sets because none of them interested me. When i saw the multiverse of madness movie, i knew i had to have the set. For the most part i am satisfied, there are a few notes. This set has an unreasonable amount of stickers. Like 60ish. I really wish some of them were printed, especially the REALLY small ones. This set comes with some very nice minifigures. Love the dead strange, sinister strange, and mordo. It’s a bit of a shame that the regular dr strange is the same as other sets. I am uncertain if wong is any different but i am fine with him. Spiderman is fine, so is iron man. I have an issue with the wanda minifigure. It does not match the quality of the other minifigures in design and I honestly like the what if series wanta better. Ebony maw is a weird addition to this set but I’ll just let him chill under the stairs which for some reason houses a tesseract! One minifigure that frustrates me that is missing from this set is America Chavez. She was an important character in the movie so it feels weird to have iron man, ebony maw, and spiderman but not America.
Oh well, overall i love the set and have connected it to the botique hotel. I look forward to putting something between these sets in the future!

Phenomenal Set

I ordered this set right as it came out on august first and it arrived 4 days later. It took be about 9 hours to build and I was not disappointed. The set looks amazing next to the daily bugle and I love the new line of marvel Modulars. My one and only complaint are how the minifigures lack a little bit but besides that the set is great. I did add a few additions to some of them as you may notice in the attached pictures.
The outside of the sanctum is very beautiful with the sand green texture on the top floor and the tiles connecting right into the daily bugle but the interior is my favorite part. The top floor is dedicated to a whole bunch of cool relics and pieces which I find really interesting. I also love how to middle floor has cool details like the gargantos, the staircase, the bookshelf, and that cool door play feature with the different backgrounds. I also enjoy that portal design which leads to the time stone. I found interesting the idea of making the building a corner building. It makes it so it can include a lot more detail on the side and a cool edition to a lego city. I found the detail on this set amazing and the play features very cool. I recommend this set to any big marvel fan.

Very good, not great.

I’m loving that Lego is continuing a sub theme of Marvel specific modular builds. The build process of this was fairly straightforward and I appreciate that there were no multiple bags for any of the 18 stages. Mini figs included were good but could’ve had more (I mean this is a property with endless possibilities, even narrowing it down to Dr Strange movie appearances). The removable and customizable plates are a nice new feature but the inclusion of them in a corner build where they either face the back or alley way adjacent to a building in a larger city makes the display value suffer. With the recent insane inflation rates it’s a bit of a steep purchase to make but for Marvel or even modular fans it’s still a great addition to your collection.

I bought this set with no hesitations. I've been collecting for about 8 years now and I just love how this turned out. It met all my expectations and fits well with my modular police station. Well done on this Marvel set!!

The True Sanctum Sanctorum

This is overall a great set to purchase! I have been waiting a while to buy this one as I trickled down my list of priorities and let me tell you, this one did not disappoint. For what you get out of the set, I would say it is completely worth the buy. The price point is on par and the display is amazing. It looks great next to my daily bugle! I did have a little bit of a problem as I was missing one piece but I was able to continue and get that piece ordered so it wasn't a big problem. The only thing I would critique would be the building experience but that is because I have been spoiled enough to build the Titanic and HP Collectors Castle. LEGO, you outdid yourselves on this one and it definitely competes with the greatness of the Daily bugle! Great job!

Worth Every Penny!

This was a great set that I would recommend to anyone. I loved the many mini-figures it comes with to really have a fight outside of epic proportion. This build has so many surprises that even I had to pause and just enjoy certain features to share with friends later. This is a modular set so you do have to be gentle with it when converting your build to “play mode”. I say this only because there are so many tiny features. If you are not a fan of stickers, this will give you a run for your money. I enjoy the added detail stickers provide, but I know many out there really get your feathers ruffled if you have to use them in big sets. I do wish the footprint of the floor plan was a tiny bit bigger so I could get more mini fig action inside of it. My favorite detail is the monster on the side of the building and the hidden gem under the stairs! No spoilers here, but definitely pick this up if you are a huge Marvel fan like I am.

My Honest Review of the LEGO Sanctum Sanctorum

As pleasing and aesthetic as this set was, it did have quite a few little things which bugged me a little. What I liked about this set was, it looks absolutely magnificent especially in sunlight. The majority of minifigures were very detailed. The build experience certainly wasn't my favorite but not doubt, it was fun.
There were just small things that the designer could have added such as stairs to the top floor and roof. I also thought that the grand staircase did conquer quite a bit of space. I would have appreciated if Wanda did have printing on her legs, Strange's hair could have been brown as it was in the movies and Wong looked a little more like he did in the films.
