This set has very good quality. The prices are all put together well. The vessel is a good build. It stays together very well. The throne is a good build. It is an awesome play set. I would definitely recommend this set.

Entry level into new building technics.

The throne build in this set is a great entry level set for young builders to see new ways to orientate parts in a new way that is not basic vertical stacking of bricks and plates. It comes with some great figures from the Marvel universe as well. Price per piece may not be the best, but I was surprised how big the set was in person compared to the stock photos. It is the best set of the three play scale ones from the Wakanda line overall.

Fun and playable

Minifigures are great. The hammerhead helmet is sick. I wanted a Namor and he does not disappoint. Wish Shuri had a masked panther face (maybe instead of weapons).
Vehicle is cool but highlight of build definitely the throne. Fun, and it looks epic for Namor to sit and survey any undersea lego kingdom. Fun to imagine the creature slain to construct it. Added two holed studs to the sub for Shuri weapon storage and some sharks. Fish are a nice touch.

Underwhelming Underwater Set
on January 3, 2023

Pros:
- The minifigures are lovingly detailed, with Shuri's distinctive hair, Attuma's hammerhead helmet, and Namor's (or K'ulk'ulkan's) legs featuring side printing for the winged ankles.
- Shuri's Skirmisher submarine is a beautiful design and gets a lot of mileage out of just a few pieces.
- The megalodon-jaw throne cuts an impressive profile.
Cons:
- There are hardly any play features in this set. The submarine has two stud shooters, and the throne has an unreliable disk shooter, but that's it. The shark jaw doesn't even close.
- Namor's face should be bearded, and his distinctive jade earrings are in the wrong place & shape.
- The set count and price are bloated due to the oversized base for the throne, which doesn't add anything to the visuals or play features.
- The throne in the film is much more interesting, with chunky square gaps and structures. Perfect for LEGO design, but the set here just reduces the throne to a solid hunk of red.
- Could have included Namor's headdress which features prominently in this scene.
One of the few LEGO Marvel sets where I plan to immediately take it apart again, because I'm sure I can improve on the design with only the preexisting pieces. As is, it's a very expensive set to include so few play features or details.

My grandson loves interactive books and toys that are not electronic: Lego promotes imaginative play.
