Disappointed

My son was a little disappointed and confused when the wrong parts were in the door, but he made something unique or used the box to figure out how to build it to make the best of it. But now on Christmas Eve the calendar is all open and he says, where's Rocket? We assumed when the wrong pieces were in that door we would eventually get him, but nope there was a duplicate instead. We had three different Lego advent calendars at our house this year and this one was the only one with mixed up and missing pieces. Definitely disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The characters are great. Everything was how it was a label on each door. Also, a bunch of extra parts.

Missing Parts

On Day 2 of this advent calendar, the parts bag does not match the instructions on the door. In ten years of Star Wars advent calendars, this has never happened before. I am disappointed with the quality control.

Oh no! That wasn’t a good surprise! If you pull the tray out, you’ll see that bag goes with a different day. If you find it’s a duplicate, please contact us at LEGO.build/Service-BV so we can send the parts needed for the missing day.

Wrong builds

I was really excited about this advent calendar because it is something new to me but I am on day 5 and today’s build is supposed to be rocket but got a random set instead. I don’t even know how to build this without the instructions so I guess I’m just going to have to wait until I open everything? :(

Parts not matching up with door

Everything was going okay until door 18 today. My daughter opened 18 and spent 10 minutes trying to figure out how to build the item. I came over after she, growing more and more frustrated, asked for help. I too couldn’t figure out how to build the item behind door 18 only to finally see that the pieces didn’t at all match up with the door. Hopefully one of the next doors will contain the correct pieces.
Pretty sloppy.

Our son’s advent calendar was missing day 5 (rocket). We got a duplicate of another day.

We've told Rocket not to wander too far from the ship, but he doesn't always listen! Please reach out at LEGO.build/Service-BV so we can track him down and make sure your son receives him.

It's ok it's super fun to play with but I got a wrong kit in day 8 the kit for day 8 was supposed to be a turkey but it was a boom box and speakers

Oh no! Sounds like some of the daily builds have shuffled around in the tray. You can pull the tray by opening the side flaps of the box. If you find the turkey is still missing, get in touch at LEGO.build/Service-BV so we can get the parts requested for you!

Very disappointed

My son (24) and I (51) have been building Lego Advent calendars since they started years ago, I still have Santa in the shower from years back. When the Star Wars calendar was first released we purchased the Lego City for me and Star Wars for him and started to make a game of opening the calendar and racing to see who can complete their gift the fastest. (I lose 90% of the time.). This year we added the Guardians of the Galaxy and we’re incredibly disappointed. We are missing the last piece of the sleigh. In the slot for 23 was a repeat of what was in slot 3. In all our years of completing the advent calendars we have never had this happen. Sure, there have been some disappointing sets, but we have never seen this. The quality of the box has greatly diminished, we had to be very careful not to rip the boxes as we opened the doors.
As this has become tradition, I would hate to see the quality diminish, as we are avid Lego fans.
